The German capital has announced plans to establish its first LGBT-friendly daycare center at which children up to five years old will be shown what it is like to be homosexual.

“On its own, our concept is the same as that of other daycare centers. The LGBTI* way of life should simply be a little more visible,” said the manager of the planned facility. The BILD newspaper reported that 60 of the 93 spots have already been booked.

The facility intends to showcase more educational books in which homosexual couples are the protagonists, and hopes to make it easier for young attendees to come out as gay. Staff will be required to either be part of the LGBT community or have a very good knowledge of it.

“Parents whose son likes to wear a dress and hair clips for his birthday got in touch,” reported the managing director enthusiastically.

According to BILD, the association’s board of directors includes a well-known “pedophile sympathizer,” who has in the past called for abolishing criminal liability for sex with children, and is reportedly close to the Greens. In 1994, he published the book “Die Lust am Kind. Portrait of the Pedophile,” which many consider trivializing. The daycare provider pointed out that the individual allegedly has nothing to do with the day-to-day business of the daycare center, which they admit would have been “problematic.”
