Joanna Jędrzejczyk is becoming increasingly popular. She is the first woman to have fought in the UFC gala – the most important and largest MMA organization in the world. She has also played an important role in the Polish movie “Women of the Mafia 2”.

Although she is a warrior and trains in Florida for an American federation, she does not forget where she comes from. During ceremonies, fights and commercial parties, she can always be seen wearing Polish colors.

God, faith and my family are the pillars in my life and career

“I’m proud that I can represent Poland on the international arena. Even during fights for which I had to pay for myself,” Jędrzejczyk explained. “I’ve fought for less than PLN 8,000, but still represented the Polish eagle. That was and will be the most important thing for me. Although I represent an American club from Florida, I’m a Pole. I moved to the US to improve my skills in MMA and so I can better represent Poland.”

Jędrzejczyk, an expert in boxing, thai boxing and kick-boxing as well as mixed martial arts does not hide that she is a religious person: “I’m a religious person and that helps me a lot. God, faith and my family are the pillars in my life and career. Each day I try to be not only a better sportswoman, but also a better person.”
