Police say a 66-year-old woman was raped inside her Paris home by a man of “African origin,” with the suspect presenting himself as a doctor in order to trick the victim and gain her trust.

While the victim was walking into her Parisian home in the 20th arrondissement, the suspect followed the woman to the doorstep outside her apartment and told her he was a doctor working for “Hauts-de-Seine hospitals.” According to Europe 1, the 30-year-old man then gained access to her room, where he then undressed his victim. He told her he was performing a test with his finger and penetrated her rectum, justifying the act by explaining to the woman he was performing a “rectal examination.”

The man then left the apartment and told the woman she would receive the test results the next week. The woman, who was in a state of shock, went immediately to the police station and filed a complaint.

Police continue to search for the suspect.

As Remix News previously reported, elderly women have been the target of a number of sexual assaults in recent years, including a 67-year-old woman who was raped by an Algerian migrant during an “excruciating night of torture” in September of last year. That same month, a 51-year-old was sexually assaulted by a migrant of unknown origin.

In October of last year, 44-year-old Samir. B. was arrested for raping two women over 90 in their hospital beds in Paris.
