Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of the conservative Law and Justice party (PiS), has revealed that Poland’s ruling party’s slogan in the coming election will be: “Secure future for Poles.”

He said that his party is doing everything that can be done, and doing it effectively, to ensure the security of the country is enhanced.

The ruling party leader explained that the idea of security has several dimensions. The first is that security from external threats must be ensured, which will be realized with increased military enhancement. He added that his party had presided over an unprecedented growth in spending on defense, which was the only way to deter potential aggression.

The second dimension Kaczyński highlighted was internal security, such as security from crime. He argued that his party had done much to strengthen the police and stiffen the penalties for crime.

The third dimension mentioned was energy security. He pointed to his party’s record over eight years in office on energy security and independence. As a result of the actions taken, the country was immune to energy blackmail, Kaczyński argued.

Finally, the PiS leader said that security also had a social dimension. He said he was proud of his party’s record of providing welfare, raising wages and ensuring full employment.

“This had made Polish families more secure and able to enjoy higher living standards,” he said.
